ESSER Funding

All grantees are required to report on ESSER funds received under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act; the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act; and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. ZESD 6 Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund Spending Plan

Title I

The Purpose of a Title I Plan lays out the educational objectives for the district. These objectives, in turn serve as goals for the use of funds in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The Illinois State Board of Education must first approve the grant, which aims to address any disparities that result in low-income and/or minority students/schools. After approval, the district must then monitor disbursement of funding, monitoring of services, and keep documentation supporting the efforts of each building. Read more...
